BioTropic at the leading fruit and vegetable exhibition Fruit Logistica in Berlin
In den 21 Hallen, in denen die Fruit Logistica stattfand, schien an den drei Messetagen die ganze nationale und internationale Fruchtbranche auf den Beinen zu sein. Mit rund 70.000 Fachbesuchern aus mehr als 130 Ländern war diese Weltmesse in Berlin sehr gut besucht.
It seemed as though the entire national and international fruit industry had attended the Fruit Logistica which was held in 21 halls over three days. With 70,000 trade visitors from more than 130 countries, the international exhibition held in Berlin was very well attended.
BioTropic was also represented with its own stand at the exhibition from 3. to 5. February 2016. Here there were, as usual, many talks with business partners, old acquaintances as well as potential new suppliers and producers. As one colleague said: “It’s like a family for me although it’s to do with business.”
Many business partners have been visiting our stand for years and praise the cooperation with us which is evidence for us that we are doing many things right. Our commitment in countries such as the Dominican Republic or West Africa is also equally well received. The Senegalese minister of trade, for example, also came to visit the BioTropic stand with his employees and spoke to our colleagues about possible investment opportunities and aid programmes which was all documented by Senegalese television.
The intensive support of our producers through our own agricultural engineers also actively raises awareness of our work and promotes the development work with the organic producers and farmers worldwide.
However, such an exhibition is not only beneficial for the presentation of our products and services but is also good for the motivating team work between colleagues from the worldwide branches who meet at the exhibition.
The Fruit Logistica which has been held since 1993, has, meanwhile, become so big that it is hardly possible to see everything on one day. We were, therefore, all the more pleased that we were also filmed – a German television crew filmed our stand as they liked it so much. We could already be seen one day later in the ZDF morning programme.
We will take part in the exhibition again next year. Until then, we look forward to an enjoyable and successful year with our business partners.
