Fresh, organic green spring asparagus for BioTropic
March sees the start of the harvest of green asparagus from Italy – the season lasts until mid June. Asparagus is one of the vegetable varieties of which only the young and tender shoots are eaten. The green variety is particularly popular in southern Europe.
Food dehydrators for Ivoire Organics in Côte d’Ivoire
Our Africa manager Kuemkwong Siemefo had an important engagement at Ivoire Organics in Côte d’Ivoire this February: the installation of three more food dehydrators for drying locally produced organic mangos in Korhogo to the north of the country. This has allowed Ivoire Organics to expand its drying production, started at the beginning of 2015, and to now produce in a more effective and salable manner.
BioTropic at the leading fruit and vegetable exhibition Fruit Logistica in Berlin
In den 21 Hallen, in denen die Fruit Logistica stattfand, schien an den drei Messetagen die ganze nationale und internationale Fruchtbranche auf den Beinen zu sein. Mit rund 70.000 Fachbesuchern aus mehr als 130 Ländern war diese Weltmesse in Berlin sehr gut besucht.
